The service

sorryilied.org makes AI-edited Halloween costume images and short AI videos from photos you upload, plus a free slideshow maker that runs in your browser.

These terms are an agreement between you and Sorry I Lied, 1543 Stratford Drive, Honolulu, HI 96814, USA. Contact: support@sorryilied.org.

Your account

You need an account to use AI tools. Keep your sign-in secure and use one account per person. You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

Photos you upload

Only upload photos of yourself, your own children as their parent or guardian, or your own pets. Do not upload other people's children, public figures, or anyone who has not agreed.

We delete the original photos you upload within 24 hours. We do not use your photos or results to train AI models.

AI results

AI results vary. Faces, hands, clothes and backgrounds can change. A result is an AI-generated picture, not a record of something that happened. Do not use it to mislead or impersonate anyone.

Credits

AI tools use credits. Credits from packs never expire. Monthly membership credits reset at each billing date. Yearly membership credits are added at once and last 12 months.

Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. If a generation fails, its credits go back to your balance automatically.

Payments and memberships

Checkout is sold through Link, the Stripe service that acts as merchant of record: it charges you, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and sends your receipts. Prices are set in US dollars; checkout may show and charge the amount in your local currency.

Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep your membership until the end of the period you paid for.

Your content

You keep the rights you have in your photos and results. You let us process them only to run the service for you, for example to generate, store and show them to you.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date below and, for big changes, tell signed-in users.
